Who wants a bedtime story? Lay down, close your eyes, and listen close. You can hear the monsters whispering if you hold your breath.

Kira grew up in rural Ohio surrounded by brothers and sisters, chickens, corn fields and ghosts.

She spent her early years wrangling invisible horses and devouring every book she could get her hands on, winning 2nd place in the spelling bee and Most Musical Student.

After graduating college for a massage therapy degree that is now collecting dust, she met and married a handsome young Airman and moved to North Dakota, where they spent the next few years freezing their asses off on a pile of nukes.

The spark to write has always been there, buried deep beneath the busy wife and stay at home mothering life. Moving back to Ohio and raising two young dragons provided a million opportunities to let her imagination grow.

A hop, skip and a jump later, she finds herself in South Carolina, homeschooling two teenagers, amusing her partner of 17 years, virtual assisting for the best boss ever, dungeon mastering, and making shit up for fun.
